The publication „Eine Alman Stadt“ is a collection of photos of a mid-size German city. It features the city’s houses and Vorgärten, greens in between those houses, social spaces, eternal states, and flowers at Halit Yozgat memorial and a bush-shaped text on the backside of the book. „Eine Alman Stadt“ makes connections between small city timelessness that reveals an assumed universality and neutrality, the city as a sum of privately owned small islands - sometimes with literal flags on top -, gardens, and far-right ideologies.

The book is published in 2023 by Well Gedacht Publishing and is printed in RISO in multiple colors. The images were shot on film cameras between 2012-2017 during İpek Burçak’s studies in Kassel.
